Event Details

Date of the Event

Ø  Sunday, February 19:  1pm-8pm

 

Time of the Event

Ø  1pm: Registration

Ø  2pm: Kickoff in Parking Lot Next to Barley House (North Side)

Ø  2pm-6pm: Olympics

Ø  6:30pm-7:00pm: Dogsled Grand Prix in Parking Lot Next to Barley House 

Ø  6:30pm-8pm (Final Event & Closing Ceremonies) @ Bar TBA

Ø  Cost is $20 per person to participate

Ø  Teams can be made up of any girl or guy ratio and have up to 3 people

o   One person is an alternate

o   Only 2 people participate at one time

Ø  Each person will receive a t-shirt & RedBull for participation

Ø  Winning Team will receive $300 cash and a team trophy

Ø  Teams will be competing in the following competitions

1.       Dance Wii (Liquid)

2.       Slap Shot (Velvet Dog)

3.       Skee Ball (Dive Bar)

4.       Bull Riding (Tequila Ranch)

5.       Basketball (Blind Pig)

6.       Jigsaw Puzzle (Barley House)

7.       Tater Toss (Bar Louie)

8.       Snowball Challenge (Paninis)

Ø  We will kick off the event with all participants slamming a RedBull from parking lot, going through an obstacle course & taking off to whatever bar we inform them to start off at

Ø  Registration will be handled at The Hat Factory

Ø  Judges

  §  2 judges from each bar

  §  We will pick out of a hat as to what bar that judge will be assigned to for the   

           day

Ø  Scoring

1.       Scoring is to be on a scale of 1-10

2.       Rules as to how the scoring is being handled will be typed up by each bar and be accessible for participants to read before being involved in the actual event

3.       Teams can receive an 1 extra point for each team mate drinking one of the three sponsors items at each bar location

§  Example: Team Final Score after event is 7 but all 3 teammates were drinking

·         Final Score would then be 10

·         Judges at each bar will have tickets or stamp to hand out for additional points that the teams earned throughout the day and they are responsible for turning in at the end with their score card to get those extra points

4.       The Top 10 Teams with the highest scores will compete in the Finals which will be the Dog Sled Grand Prix Run

§  Based on their time they will add these points to their final score

§  Whoever has the highest score overall wins the 1st Annual West 6 Winter Olympics and takes home $300!

Ø  Every Hour on the Hour

1.       We will utilize a blow horn to inform participants of what time it is every hour on the hour

Ø  Drink Specials for the Day on their Product

§  $4.00 Bomb

§  $5.00 Vodka Redbull

o   Jameson

§  $4.00 “Breakfast of Champions” Shots/Straight Shots/Mixed Drinks


T-Shirts are NOT guaranteed if your team is not signed up by Wednesday, February 15
